Indonesia and Bahrain have signed four agreements at the Indonesia-Bahrain Business Forum in Manama. The agreements were signed by Indonesia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi and Bahrain's Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani.
The agreements are expected to boost trade and strengthen economic partnerships between the two countries.
The first agreement is a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on economic, trade, and technical cooperation. The MoU aims to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries in various sectors, including trade, investment, tourism, and technology.
The second agreement is a MoU on investment protection. The MoU aims to create a favorable environment for investment between the two countries by providing protection for investors and their investments.
The third agreement is a MoU on tourism cooperation. The MoU aims to promote tourism between the two countries by facilitating the exchange of tourists and promoting joint tourism programs.
The fourth agreement is a statement of intent on establishing a joint working group on trade and investment. The joint working group will be responsible for identifying and addressing trade and investment barriers between the two countries.
